FAQ

Do you sell digital versions of your comics and books?

Yes! In order to deliver the most streamlined checkout experience, XEI uses Gumroad.com to sell digital copies of books in print.

I purchased a digital copy of one of your books, can I share it with friends and family?

Yes! Of course. It’s your digital copy and it is DRM-Free. Do with it as you please! If you can remember to give credit, share kind words about XEI content, that would be greatly appreciated.

Why are your fulfillment times so long?

XEI is located in Ontario, Canada. Canadian postage is extraordinarily expensive. In order to keep shipping costs low for customers, XEI uses a distribution partner that dispatches orders from NY, USA. Orders are dropped off at the fulfillment center on a weekly schedule. Thank you ahead of time for your patience!

If I return my package, or it was “returned to sender” (address on the shipping label), will you receive it so you can send it back?

No. Packages that are returned end up at the distribution partner’s facility, in NY, USA, and are destroyed.

Do not return your packages, and please ensure you pick up your package before the postal service holding period runs out!

XEI would have to send a new order out, which could result in extra cost--depending on circumstances and product availability.

Why don’t you ship to Canada (your own country)?

Shipping costs for single comics and books from--and within--Canada, end up costing more than the product itself. It’s not viable to maintain at this current time.

Occasionally, XEI will offer bundles that will be available to Canadian customers. This provides an opportunity to best optimize pricing/cost that are more reasonable for both parties.

Why don’t you ship Internationally?

Due to a number of mishaps with packages not arriving at the target destination, shipping costs continuing to sky rocket (well over the listed shipping price for some EU countries), and the new VAX laws that require additional fees/taxes and border control (that results in returned packages that get destroyed), it’s no longer viable to ship products overseas.

Occasionally, XEI will offer bundles that will be available Internationally. This provides an opportunity to best optimize pricing/cost that are more reasonable for both parties.
